Yellowstone

A couple of weeks ago we went to Yellowstone with Karen's family and had a super fun time. My camera was still lost, so I had to use a disposable camera and it took me forever to get them developed.

Here we are on our way down the 328 death defying steps of a hike. No, those are not Crocs, it is a figment of your imagination! (I was desperate, I only packed heels - we didn't know we were going until a last minute decision from Utah.)

And here is Josh's poor cousin, John, who had to carry the extra 30 pounds on the way up. Needless to say we were all shaky the rest of the day and sore the rest of the week.

And here is John carrying around Maddie at a big, stinky, beautiful water feature. (Don't you love newly married couples - they are always the best to have around your kids!)

Great Grandma Tobler was so sweet to take the Madster into her motorhome and make her a bracelet of the beads she picked out. So cute.

And here is Josh's other cousin who was adorable with Maddie, Scott. They were taking an ice cream break.

Three generations of Yellowstone campers waiting for Old Faithful to blow. (Isn't anybody else worried that this is the top of a massive volcano that could explode at any time?)

Our latest sad attempt at a family picture with the uncooperative Madster.

The loves of my life at "The Bog of Eternal Stench." (Renamed by me.)

Looking for all the animals. (We saw bears, a wolf, beavers, otters, eagles, a million buffalos, a billion squirrels, etc., etc.) We had a blast, and camping with Karen's new motor-home is the only way to go!

That looks so fun going camping to places like that, we used to do that when we were little, I can't wait for my kids (Ava, so far) to be old enough to go on family vacations like Yellowstone.

Oh yeah, I also love the Ticket Buster shirts I haven't attempted to wear mine in public yet! And is Maddie really sitting in the front of the vehicle while it is moving, I am shocked that Josh let her! That is how it was done in the old days though!
