Then I got my grades and I am on the Dean's list and top ten percent of my class, and my essays were returned with comments like "This essay was a pleasure to grade....." (I'm not saying this to brag, because, to be honest, I never received a comment even remotely like that on a constitutional law essay.) However, I AM saying this to maybe inspire someone else out there to try something new. Try something that seems incredibly hard. Because you are stronger than you think you are.
And that is my "after-school-special" message for the day.
P.S. Thanks mom, for teaching me how to be confident, and wake up cheerful and optimistic every morning. And thanks dad, for teaching me how to be efficient, thorough, and work incredibly hard.

I am SO proud of you daughter!! Really proud. And you've done your parents proud too. I'll say it again...PROUD!
P.S. I thought you were only shooting for "C is for Cookie"?
Good job.
:D
Very very nice!!! I always say the same thing- I could NEVER do medical school like Rod. Now maybe I should try?? :)
You have always been the smart nerdy kid, so I'm not really surprised. Now come to VA to make a baby!!
And I guess I forgive you for ignoring me for two weeks while you did all this work...
You go girl!
That's awesome! Good job!
You are super woman! I'm so proud to be your friend. Love this post!
Congrats!!! You are smart.=)
Thanks for the "after-school-special" message! I needed that!! And, congrats on doing so well. Not an easy feat. But, then again, you are Rachel Harris, one who never gives up on anything! Wouldn't expect any less of you.
