Josh's cousin's employee's mom (did you follow that?) had some pull at the Del Mar Horse Races. So Josh and I got to tag along for a behind-the-scenes VIP tour of the races. It was very, very cool.
I was, however, quite heart broken to hear that women don't wear ridiculously huge hats anymore except for opening day. So my fantasy of "My Fair Lady" style horse races didn't quite pan out.
The consolation prize was that Jimmy Eat World performed after the races and we were able to stand very close to the stage. It is moments like these when I feel 18 again.

Rachel you look so pretty in that pic of you and Josh at the concert! Looks like you have had a great summer. I know Matt would be really jealous of the motor home - he's says it's a 'dream' of his to do that!!! He wants to travel around to all the national parks in a giant house on wheels cause he knows I won't camp more than one night without a shower (I'll call myself a snob I don't care!! haha yes I agree with you hygiene IS important =D)
