My Elegant Little Madeline

My whole life I have been asked if I was a ballerina. Apparently, I have the perfect ballerina feet. So when Maddie begged me to do ballet this year, I was pretty excited. She has the perfect little ballerina body.

I was really excited to travel somewhere awesome for Maddie's spring break. Josh and I were coming up with some super cool places that we wanted to take her to. So we asked her where in the world she wanted to go. Maddie wanted to spend her Spring Break with her Grandma Linda in Indiana. At first I was kind of confused about that (not Paris? or Australia?), but then when I saw the pictures I realized that her week with my mom was basically a week out of my childhood. Doing simple and happy and fun things. I totally get it now. She spent most of the week like this, getting to know Grandma Linda's shy, new pet cats.

Doing jump rope twisty thing.

Spending hours in the craft aisle.

Bowling in my old "Blossom" hat.

(Like this.)

Crocheting and making crafty things.

Then, she and Grandma Linda snuck down to Texas to surprise the Smith cousins.

And she will make you a bracelet or goldfish for $.50. It's her new business.
