We needed to get out of the Vegas heat for the summer, so we went to visit the grandparents in Indiana. Jack's head was so sweaty underneath that gorgeous golden hair, so I buzzed it all off. Maddie was REALLY mad at me for that. She said he looked more evil with the short hair.
My favorite thing was going out on the lake. It was so pleasant because it wasn't 115 degrees. We had such a fun day.
I swear these two are twins and soul mates.
Once we had left and were in our hotel, I found a tick on Jack's back and one on Maddie leg. %&$@! I quickly googled what to do and then saved my poor little kids from these evil, evil bug beasts. You have to be so fearless when you're a mom!
Jack was surprisingly not a crazy beast on the plane ride home. It was a great little vacation.
