We planned the whole cruise around the dates of Running with the Bulls in Spain. Whenever you hear about a "World's Most Interesting Man" or an "International Man of Mystery" or a "bucket list", it usually includes the activity of running with the bulls. So obviously, Josh HAD to do it.
He and his equally crazy cousin jumped in the back of this taxi and drove hundreds of miles in the middle of the night. (Josh would probably like me to mention that there was no air conditioning. His pet peeve.)
They got there around dawn and found a store to buy their outfits. They tried to find "the hidden spot" where they would be safe from the bulls. Josh said they walked up and down the street trying to find some wall that they could climb or some steps that they could jump up or SOMEWHERE that was relatively safe. But it turns out that there isn't one. So they tried to plan some kind of plan or strategy. And quickly realized there isn't one. Then they just braced themselves and probably prayed really hard. Haha.
Can you imagine looking at this gate and knowing that 12 angry bulls that want to kill you are just on the other side?
When Josh got back he crashed out in the bed. Apparently facing certain death is exhausting.
