Daddy Daughter Dream Trip

Yes, I know my kids are lucky. Maddie has been studying the states in school, and each kid chose a state to study and write a report on. Maddie chose Pennsylvania because that is where Josh served his mission. Josh gets so excited about Pennsylvania and geography, so they decided to plan a trip there to learn more about it. Of course, they scheduled the trip around the Killers concert there. What a lucky, lucky daughter.

Lots of driving

They stayed at a working farm's bed and breakfast and visited an Amish farm. Maddie loved it and is now begging for a pet calf.

Josh has dreams about certain food places in Penn State, so he was excited to share them with Maddie. Sheetz

Cinco De Mayo

Josh's firm's annual Cinco De Mayo party happened. Every year it seems to get bigger and better. It was an awesome night.

Harris Happenings

This year, we finally made it to the Summerlin Circus. It was hecka ghetto-fabulous, but the kids loved it.

I feel like this picture of Josh and me is from a different decade/century.

I still love Bingo even though it is stressful and I never win, and Josh doesn't listen to the rules and then gets flustered.

The Stucki family all got together to celebrate our beautiful Grandma's 81st birthday. Isn't she just lovely?

My sister in Texas felt left out, so my dad and I sent her this picture to show her how much fun we were having. I love how obnoxious my dad and I are when we get together. He is so annoying, and I think my sister in Texas and I are the only kids who got that gene from him.

Hippity Hoppity

Jack totally got the concept of Easter this year, which makes it so much more fun. Although he moved at a snail's pace, he loved running around getting eggs and putting them in his basket. Then he ate an insane amount of candy all day long and slept hard that night. Next year, Maddie might finally have some real competition.

With Maddie in Indiana and Josh and me in Hawaii, Jack needed somewhere to go where I knew he would be loved and adored and safe. The Eaton's house is the perfect place! I always worry when my kids go stay at Stacey's house, that they get sad when it is time to come home to our quiet, boring house.
